Lasting values, dynamic goals

Fifteen years down the line a sound and common fundamental understanding underpins our motivation to improve in order to serve our customers better.

Corporate Culture & Core Values

In a dynamic environment subject to constant change, the purpose of our mission statement is to define lasting values and standards in our company. The guidelines set out below accompany us in our daily work, both within the company, as well as in our dealings with our customers and business partners. They act as a benchmark for guiding company management and the employees in their activities.

Candour and team spirit

We are open and honest in our conduct both within the company and towards our customers. All team members are encouraged to address problems directly and to develop and offer proposals for solutions and improvement at all times. We view this approach as the only way of leveraging our overall intellectual potential, with the aim of achieving a cutting edge and guaranteeing future success.

Full commitment and wholehearted motivation
Since its founding year in 2000, our company has grown steadily and sustainably, while securing ongoing success. This progress was – and is – only possible with our highly motivated employees who enjoy their work and interacting with other people. We believe that success and above-average performance are inextricably intertwined, with a focus on the individual and his or her individual needs, and on shaping a high-quality working environment. We consider the development of our employees as a vital task.

Customer orientation and a sense of responsibility
Our company’s very existence depends on our customers, which is why they are at the heart of our thought and action. We are aware of the responsibility for the quality of our advice which can be of vital importance to our customers. Mindful of this, we act as cautiously as we would do for ourselves. Maximising customer benefit is top of our list of priorities, as this is equally critical for our company’s success. We develop customised innovative solutions for constraint mitigation and for liquidity and risk optimization based on the “Engpasskonzentrierte Strategie” (which is partly comparable to the “Theory of Constraints”)

Objectivity and neutrality
Our approach when advising customers is objective and free of personal prejudice, expectations and goals, i.e. based exclusively on verifiable facts. A thorough understanding of our customers’ business models is an essential prerequisite to give best comprehensive advice. Achieving an advantage for our customers and the price/benefit ratio are what really matter. We guarantee the exclusivity of our customised services, which enables us to generate sustainable value added for our customers.

Quality rather than quantity
In conducting our business we have espoused John Ruskin’s (English social reformer, 1819-1900) “common law of business balance” as our guiding principle:
“There is hardly anything in the world that a man cannot make a little worse or sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price only are this man’s lawful prey.

It’s unwise to pay too much, but it’s worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money — that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot — it can't be done

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”
